JEWELRY CARE
- Keep the jewelry away from coming in contact with any chemical, soaps, and perfume as it may impact its finishing.
- Store each piece of jewelry secretly in thiya pouch or box to prevent entanglement and scratching.
- When wearing any gold/rose gold-plated jewellery for significant periods of time, the plating will eventually wear down. To restore its appearance, you can have it re-plated.
- For everyday cleaning, rub a cleaning cloth to remove the oil and grime which will Restore the original brilliance of the jewelry surface.
- For deep cleaning, use only professional / branded cleaning solutions and tarnish removers.
- Warm water with alcohol-free mild soap can also be used.
- First, take a bowl and fill it with warm water. Add mild soap and mix to form a solution. You can use mild detergents or a few drops of dishwashing liquid to make the solution.
- Dip your jewellery into this mixture for 3-5 minutes and take it out. for gemstone/natural stone jewellery, don't soak but just use this mixture with light brush to clean.
- Next, rinse with cold water and lay it flat on a soft, clean, and dry cloth or towel. Let it dry completely, use a cloth to rub and dry softy.
- You can also use a soft-bristled brush to remove dirt from the nooks and crannies. Don't rub the jewellery hard, though.
- Storing jewellery in airtight containers prevents it from oxidation and tarnishing as these are natural characteristics of any real precious jewelry which is bound to happen.
- If Some jewelry has been oxidized to give it a slightly ‘antiqued’ look, it should not be confused with jewelry getting oxodised or tarnished.
